Rocking Chair

I had promised to personalize this rocking chair for my great niece a year ago.  Well, life seemed to always get in the way.  So, I'm going to her house for family Christmas celebration tomorrow and I was determined that this was going to be done so I could bring it to her and here it is, finally!  I used my Cricut and vinyl, I love how it turned out, I hope she does too?

Thanks for stopping by.

Another Christmas Card

My first all white card!  I'm not sure what I think about it yet?  I like it but, I don't love it.  I kept trying to add color somewhere and then thought twice about it.  I really wanted to take on this personal challenge and see how I would do.  I've seen so many beautiful cards done by others in an all white theme and I thought they were stunning.  Maybe next time I will try white with some platinum embossing on the die cut?  Everything is better with a little bling, don't ya think?

Thanks for stopping by.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Enjoy The Season!

Here is one of the holiday cards that I made this weekend.  I found these papers at Michaels and they were not the traditional red & green that I usually lean towards......I'm trying to think "outside the box" a little bit.  Let's see how long that lasts?  I'm sure I'll do some red & green themed cards too :)

The stamp set is from Hero Arts and I used copics for the coloring and a glitter pen for adding a little shimmer to the image.  As always, I must add a little bling to my cards, so, I used a little red rhinestone heart from on the scarf.

Thank you for stopping by.

Happy Hauntings

I was going to order this cartridge on line for a sale price of $24.99 and was having trouble with the website.  So, I decided to go to my local Joann's and just pick it up hoping they had it on sale too.  Well they sure did have it on sale!  I scored this baby for only $14.97. The woman said it was on clearance.  This cartridge has all of the elements you will need for your spooky Halloween crafts.  I'm so excited to have found it........now lets get crafting!!!

Business Cards

What a beautiful day.  Happy Saturday everyone!!!

I needed to order some new business cards and instead of just ordering them, I decided to try and make them myself.  I have so many scraps buidling up from other projects and needed an excuse to use some of them up, so this is what I came up with.  I printed them using Word on some colored card stock and then picked my scraps and added some embellishments.  Everything is better with a little bling, don't you agree?
I don't think I'll be ordering anymore of those expensive cards on line.  I'm pleased with how these turned out.  I think next time I will take out the border when I print them.  Then I can round the corners and it won't look odd with a straight border.

Cake Carrier

Back to crafting!  Everyone told me that after being laid off, there was a silver lining to it all.  When it first happens, it's hard to see the good in it.  Well, it took me some time to find my footing, but, I finally figured it out......I now have more time for crafting!  Time to get to the things that I love to do.  Here is one of the items that I've been working on.  They are cake carriers that I've been decorating and selling and they're done using my Cricut and vinyl.  I have had my Cricut cutting machine for years and I don't think I've ever used it to it's full potential.  I've always seen the vinyl in the stores and never tried it.  Well, once I tried it,  I was hooked!  There are so many things that you can use it on and so many ways to use it.  Have a great day and I hope it's sunny and warm where ever you are!

Kaylee's Birthday

My Great Niece Kaylee turned two this month.  She is just the sweetest little girl.  Her Mom & Dad threw her a Minnie Mouse themed party and these are the invitations that I created for her.  Very simple and done using my Cricut with the Mickey and Friends cartridge.
I'm working on her matching thank you notes.  Will post when they're done.

Have a great day & Thanks for checking out my blog :)

February

Good Morning Everyone!

It's a beautiful winter morning in New Hampshire.  The air is cold and the sun is shining brightly.  We are one month closer to spring now.  It's February already, can you believe it?

I have been crafting this winter and have been involved in a lot of projects that were very time consuming.  I wanted to post some of the things that I have worked on over the past 6 months or so, so here they are.........

April & Andrew's Table numbers for their reception.

Save the date cards.  I had so much fun making these.

Next, their wedding invitations.....the wedding was a red, white and blue theme.

Place Cards for their receiption

Their centerpieces that I made with Birch Trees and Mason Jars with floating candles

This is the card that I made for the Bridesmaids to give to the Happy Couple with their wedding gift.  They are huge Red Sox Fans and they gave them tickets to a game.

Super Bowl Sunday

Tomorrow's Super Bowl will not be the same without the Patriots.  I never thought I would be cheering for the 49ers to win.  I guess there's always next year.

I just hope that everyone enjoys their time with friends and family tomorrow.  After all, that's what it's all about, right?  Well, maybe it's a little bit about the food :)
